The EIR should determine if a mandatory finding of <br /> significance is required due to the project causing an environmental effect or effects causing <br /> "substantial adverse effects on human beings, either directly or indirectly." CEQA Guidelines <br /> §15065(a)(4). This includes not just fire risk but any risk from the burning of hazardous <br /> materials. <br /> Fire Stations. The closest District fire station to the site is Fire Station 94 located at 16502 W. <br /> Schulte Road near the Prologis International Park of Commerce. Station 94 is located on a site <br /> adjacent to CAL Fire, Santa Clara Unit, Station 26. If you require more information about the <br /> District's facilities, please let us know. <br /> To the extent the County concludes that any of the issues raised in this letter are inappropriate for <br /> inclusion in an EIR, we respectfully request that the County meet and confer with the District to <br /> arrange for the proper study of those issues separate from the EIR process. <br /> The NOP requested that we identify a contact person for the District.
