Air Quality and Greenhouse Gas Technical Report Griffith Energy Storage Project <br /> The Project is bounded to the north by grazing land, rural residences, the West Patterson Pass, and the <br /> Union Pacific Railroad. To the east lies grazing land and open space. Rural residences, grazing land, and <br /> open space bound the Project to the south. The Project is bounded by rural residences, grazing land, and <br /> the PG&E Tesla Substation to the west. <br /> The PG&E Tesla Substation is located approximately 0.25 miles to the west. Transmission towers and <br /> lines are located approximately 0.1 miles southwest and 0.17 northwest of the Project site. The closest <br /> residences on land not owned by the current property owner are approximately 0.2 miles (approximately <br /> 1,000 feet) north of the Project site on the other side of West Patterson Pass and 0.2 miles <br /> (approximately 1,000 feet) southwest of the Project site at the southern terminus of Midway Road. <br /> The onsite topography consists of four distinct hilled areas. The elevational range of the Project site is <br /> approximately 300 to 500 feet above mean sea level. The Project site is used for cattle grazing and the <br /> surrounding land uses consist of agriculture, open space, and developed land. <br /> Figure 1 above displays the Project location.
