Body Art Facility Infection Prevention And Control Plan Guideline <br />A. Decontamination and Disinfection: Describe the procedures for decontaminating and disinfecting of <br />workstation and surfaces (California Health and Safety Code 119308 (b) and 119309 (a)(b)(c)(d)(e)). <br />1. Workstation surfaces/counter tops: <br />With clean gloves, disinfect all surfaces/countertops with germacidal disinfecting sani-cloths <br />before and after each procedure. Before tattoo procedure, wash hands with antibacterial soap and <br />dry hands with disposable hand towel. Put on apron/protective gear and clean disposable exam <br />gloves to wear throughout the procedure. <br />2. orkstation chairs/stools: <br />With clean gloves, disinfect all surfaces/countertops with germacidal disinfecting sani-cloths before <br />and after each procedure. Apply barrier film whereever necessary. Before tattoo procedure, wash <br />hands with antibacterial soap and dry hands with disposable hand towel. Headrests: <br />With clean gloves, disinfect with germacidal disinfecting sani-cloths before and after <br />each procedure.
