Central Ave. Fremont, CA 94538 Tracy, CA 95376 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: An Administrative Use Permit application to infill, grade, and level a reclaimed quarry in 2 phases over 5 years to allow for the planting of a 131.58-acre site for agricultural production. Phase 1 will consist of filling the quarry with 1/3 of the total fill material. Phase 2 will consist of filling the quarry with the remaining 2/3 of the total fill material. Total fill quantity at the conclusion of the project will be approximately 654,321 cubic yards of fill dirt, which will bring the site to grade. The Property is zoned AG-40 (General Agriculture, 40-acre minimum) and the General Plan designation is OS/RC (Resource Conservation). PROJECT LOCATION: The project site is on the east side of S. Tracy Blvd., 1,600 feet south of W. Linne Rd., Tracy. (APN/Address: 253-120-17, -18, &253-130-10/29292 S. Tracy Blvd., Tracy) (Supervisorial District: 5) ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: This is a Notice of Intent to adopt a Mitigated Negative Declaration for this project as described. San Joaquin County has determined that through the Initial Study that contains proposed mitigation measures all potentially significant effects on the environment can be reduced to a less than significant level. The Mitigated Negative Declaration and Initial Study can be viewed on the Community Development Department website at www.sjgov.org/commdev under Active Planning Applications. APPLICATION REVIEW: Recommendations and/or comments on this project must be submitted to the Community Development Department no later than May 1, 2024. Recommendations and/or comments received after that date may not be considered in staffs analysis.
