Central Ave. Fremont, CA 94538 Tracy, CA 95376 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: An Administrative Use Permit Application to fill in and grade a reclaimed, closed rock quarry in two phases over 5 years for future agricultural use. Phase one will consist of 1/3 of the total fill,8 temporary agriculture storage containers, 1 temporary storage container to be used as an office, and 1 temporary restroom.All temporary structures will be removed at the conclusion of the grading project. Phase 2 will consist of the remaining 2/3 fill. Total fill quantity for the project will be approximately 6,543,216 cubic yards of dirt. The project proposes to operate 50 trailers per day, 7 days a week between 8 am and 5 pm. Fill material will consist of clean, imported material meeting the requirements of the State of California Department of Toxic Substances Control and complying with the California Environmental Screening Levels for excavated materials. Access to the site is from the Eastside of South Tracy Blvd. The project site is not under Williamson Act. The Property is zoned AG-40 (General Agriculture, 40-acre minimum) and the General Plan designation is OS/RC (Resource Conservation). PROJECT LOCATION: The project site is on the east side of S. Tracy Blvd., 1,600 feet south of W. Linne Rd., Tracy. (APN/Address: 253-120-17, -18, &253-130-10/29292 S. Tracy Blvd., Tracy) (Supervisorial District: 5) APPLICATION REVIEW: Recommendations and/or comments on this project must be submitted to the Community Development Department no later than September 9, 2024.
