Tracy Blvd., Tracy <br /> The following requirements have been identified as pertinent to this project. Other requirements may also <br /> apply. These requirements cannot be modified. <br /> 1. Any imported fill shall be free of contaminants and meet the California Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board and Department of Toxic Substances Control standards prior to grading. Please contact Howard <br /> Hold by email at Howard.Hold@waterboards.ca.gov or by phone at (916) 464-4679 at the State of <br /> California Water Board, Region 5, to obtain approval prior to grading. <br /> 2. Deposition of any solid waste onto land will require a solid waste notification or permit with the EHD <br /> LEA prior to start of activities. Solid waste means all putrescible and non-putrescible solid, semisolid, <br /> and liquid wastes, including garbage, trash, refuse, paper, rubbish, ashes, industrial wastes, <br /> demolition and construction wastes, abandoned vehicles and parts thereof, discarded home and <br /> industrial appliances, dewatered, treated, or chemically fixed sewage sludge which is not hazardous <br /> waste, manure, vegetable or animal solid and semisolid wastes, and other discarded solid and <br /> semisolid wastes (Public Resources Code 40191). Solid waste includes inert debris such as <br /> concrete, asphalt, brick, and crushed glass(Title 14 CCR 17388). Solid waste includes nonhazardous <br /> petroleum contaminated soil (Title 14 CCR 17361). <br /> Any use(e.g., grading) of gravel, rock, soil, sand and similar,whether processed or not,that has never <br /> been used in connection with any structure, road, parking lot, or similar use does not require a solid <br /> waste notification or permit with the Environmental Health Department Solid Waste Local Enforcement <br /> Agency (EHD LEA) (Title 14 California Code of Regulations (CCR) section 17388.2(a)(1)). The <br /> applicant may contact Natalia Subbotnikova, Program Coordinator Solid Waste Program at(209)468- <br /> 0338 with any questions regarding the deposition of any solid waste into land. <br /> 3. All existing wells and septic systems to be abandoned shall be destroyed under permit and inspection <br /> by the EHD (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-605.010 & 9-601.020) <br /> 4. Any geotechnical drilling shall be conducted under permit and inspection by The Environmental Health <br /> Department(San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-601.010(b) and 9-601.020(i)). <br /> 5. Before any hazardous materials/waste can be stored or used onsite, the owner/operator must report <br /> the use or storage of these hazardous materials to the California Environmental Reporting System <br /> (CERS) at cers.calepa.ca.gov/and comply with the laws and regulations for the programs listed below <br /> (based on quantity of hazardous material in some cases).
