Environmental Health Department <br />Facility Name and Address: BIG VALLEY FOOD, 1832 MONTE DIABLO AVE, STOCKTON 95203 <br />Food Program Official Inspection Report <br /> #45 Floors, Walls, Ceilings; Clean and Maintained <br />OBSERVATIONS: Bare wood and worn off paint was observed throughout the meat department and the produce walk in. <br />Paint absorbent areas of walls and trim with semi-gloss paint within 30 days so that walls are smooth, cleanable, and <br />nonabsorbent. <br />Approximately 15 dead flies were observed under the orange juice in the walk in cooler. Clean and sanitize floor today. <br />A lot of spider webs were observed in the meat department. Knock down spider webs within 2 days. <br />The bottom trim and base was damaged at the entrance to the meat department. Repair wall and base so that it is smooth, <br />cleanable, and nonabsorbent within 30 days. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: The walls / ceilings shall have durable, smooth, nonabsorbent, light-colored, and washable surfaces. All floor <br />surfaces, other than the customer service areas, shall be approved, smooth, durable and made of nonabsorbent material that is easily <br />cleanable. Approved base coving shall be provided in all areas, except customer service areas and where food is stored in original <br />unopened containers. Food facilities shall be fully enclosed. All food facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair. Obtain and maintain the most <br />recent inspection report on-site at all times.
