SB 1383 Sampling Protocol—Tracy Material Recovery and Transfer Station <br /> Overview <br /> This document describes the procedures for measuring the composition of various waste <br /> material streams as required under SB 1383. Tracy Material Recovery & Transfer Station (MRF) <br /> will comply with all applicable portions of the SB 1383 regulations, which require the sampling of <br /> all outbound materials containing organic waste. Organic waste received at the facility is largely <br /> from 3-can, source-separated organic waste municipal collection programs. Self-haul organic <br /> waste accepted at the facility is directed to the appropriate tipping area to achieve optimum <br /> source-separation. <br /> Table 1 describes the streams that are sampled at the facility: <br /> Table 1.
