Compostable Materials Handling Operation and Facility Inspection <br /> Report (93) <br /> SKS Enterprises (39-AA-0050) <br /> 12/20/2023 <br /> degrees Celsius (131 degrees Fahrenheit) or higher for a pathogen reduction period of <br /> 15 days or longer. <br /> B. LEA suggests operator should seek advice from a compost consultant if <br /> temperatures continue to not meet the pathogen reduction requirements. <br /> Inspection Report Comments <br /> Notes: <br /> 1. A chain of custody dated December 20, 2023 was provided to the LEA for the lab analysis. <br /> Facility uses A&L Western Agricultural Laboratory for analysis. <br /> 2. Per operator, there are approximately 330,864 birds on site. <br /> 3. The composting machine was not running at the time of the inspection. <br /> 4. The temperature of the final compost was 104°F. <br /> 5. Temperature reading taken at the North House — North row at 170 ft. was 114°F. <br /> 6.
