What to Expect After Scalp Micropigmentation
IMMEDIATE AFTERCARE (First 6 Days)
- Redness: The scalp may appear red for 24 to 48 hours. This is a normal response and will gradually
subside.
- Discomfort: You may experience slight discomfort or tenderness in the treated area.
- Wound Care: Treat the area as an open wound for the first six (6) days. Keep it clean and avoid touching it
unnecessarily.
THINGS TO AVOID
- Sun Exposure: Avoid excessive sun exposure. UV rays can interfere with healing and pigment retention.
- Sweating: Do not engage in heavy exercise or activities that cause sweating during the first 6 days.
- Water Exposure: Avoid swimming, steam rooms, saunas, and soaking the scalp.
- Scabbing/Peeling: There should be no scabbing or peeling. Do not pick or scratch the treated area.
HEALING PROCESS
- There is no scabbing or flaking expected with proper aftercare.
- Minor fading may occur after the initial healing phase -- touch-ups are a normal part of the process.
QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS?
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us immediately. Your comfort and
results are our top priority.
