No evidence could be provided to demonstrate how long the used mercury-containing filters had been <br /> kept on site. No dated universal waste(UW)label was observed. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66273.35 Accumulation Time Limits <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Since it could not be demonstrated how long this UW was stored on site, immediately <br /> dispose of this UW in accordance with Title 22 California Code of Regulations. Provide a corrective action <br /> statement, the disposal record and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 714 CCR 66273.36 Universal Waste Handler failed to train employees and maintain records. <br /> OBSERVATION: The facility could not provide an annual training record or description of training for all of the facility <br /> personnel who manage universal waste.The Office Manager,Angelica Cintora, stated that employees do not <br /> receive any training in the handling of universal waste. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Title 22 California Code of Regulations section 66273.36 Personnel Training <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately provide employees with UW training in the detail required by this section. <br /> Generate a training record with a list of trained employees and the date of training.
