Hazardous Waste LCRS Sump, Pan Lysimeters, and <br />Groundwater Sampling <br />Per 16 May 2017 Water Code Section 13267 Order, leachate <br />samples from all leachate sumps associated with FU-04, -06, -08, - <br />13, and -14 shall monitor pH and dissolved inorganics/metals (see <br />Attachment B, C, D, E, and F of MRP R5-2023-XXXX) on a semi- <br />annual basis. The results of the monitoring shall be included with <br />the Quarterly Monitoring Report. See Table 27 and Table 28. <br />i.Pan lysimeter sampling— Per 16 May 2017 Water Code <br />Section 13267 Order, pan lysimeters samples from all pan <br />lysimeters associated with Future Units 4, 6, 8, 10, 13, and <br />14 shall monitor pH and dissolved inorganics/metals (see <br />Attachment B, C, D, E, and F of MRP R5-2023-XXXX) on a <br />semi-annual basis The pan lysimeters identified for <br />additional monitoring are identified as FU-04, FU-05, FU-06, <br />and FU-10. The results of the monitoring shall be included <br />with the Quarterly Monitoring Report. <br />ii.Groundwater sampling— Per 16 May 2017 Water Code <br />Section 13267 Order, groundwater samples collected from <br />existing upgradient groundwater monitoring well AMW-2 and <br />existing downgradient monitoring wells AMW-1, AMW-4 and <br />AMW-7 shall sample and monitor dissolved inorganics (see <br />Attachment B, C, D, E, and F of MRP R5-2023-XXXX). The <br />results of the monitoring shall be included with the Quarterly <br />Monitoring Report. <br />2. Leachate Seepage—Leachate that seeps to the surface from any landfill <br />WMU shall, immediately upon detection, be sampled and analyzed for the <br />Monitoring Parameters in Table 29 (Physical Parameters) and Table 30 <br />(Constituent Parameters). See Section E.3 for Reporting Requirements. <br />In the event of a reported leachate seep, Central Valley Water Board staff
