SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY
1.1. Introduction and Development
The Soil Suitability Study (SSS) was conducted to determine whether site soils are
suitable for septic system usage. The study was performed according to the
requirements of Section 9-110.05.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development code. A
major element of the field work included conducting percolation tests that meet
absorption rates as specified by EHD. A review of published soil information, geologic
maps, and groundwater information was also performed.
1.1.1. Site Description
The site is an approximately 13.35-acre tract of agricultural land located at 5646 West
Highway 12, Lodi, San Joaquin County, California.
