On -Site Wells
A domestic well and an irrigation well are located on the Site. Five well permits were
identified for the Site from among the files of the San Joaquin County Environmental
Health Department:
• May 1976 permit for relocation of pump at domestic well, (location unclear; 150
Frewert).
• March 1981 permit for pump installation at domestic well (location unclear; 12333
Manthey).
• May 1987 permit for new domestic well (off-site to east; 12333 Manthey).
• July 1988 permit for pump installation at domestic well (location unclear; 12333
Manthey).
• July 2003 permit for pump replacement at domestic well (off-site to east; 12333
Manthey).
These permits have been included in Appendix 4 of this report.
Water Sample
No water sample was collected as part of this investigation. A new well will most likely
be drilled to supply water for the project.
Soil Profile and Geoloaic Information
The Site is depicted on the Geologic maps of the Sacramento -San Joaquin Delta,
California (Atwater, 1982). The Site is depicted within a map unit of the Modesto
Formation described as "compact silt and very fine sand" (Plate 9).
The surface and near surface soils located at the Site are reported by the USDA Web
Soil Survey to be composed of Veritas fine sandy loam, with areas of Manteca fine
sandy loam and Timor loamy sand (Plate 10) (USDA, 2021). The table below presents
some selected properties of these soils:
LOGE 2142 Page 5
