On -Site Wells <br />A domestic well and an irrigation well are located on the Site. Five well permits were <br />identified for the Site from among the files of the San Joaquin County Environmental <br />Health Department: <br />• May 1976 permit for relocation of pump at domestic well, (location unclear; 150 <br />Frewert). <br />• March 1981 permit for pump installation at domestic well (location unclear; 12333 <br />Manthey). <br />• May 1987 permit for new domestic well (off-site to east; 12333 Manthey). <br />• July 1988 permit for pump installation at domestic well (location unclear; 12333 <br />Manthey). <br />• July 2003 permit for pump replacement at domestic well (off-site to east; 12333 <br />Manthey). <br />These permits have been included in Appendix 4 of this report. <br />Water Sample <br />No water sample was collected as part of this investigation. A new well will most likely <br />be drilled to supply water for the project. <br />Soil Profile and Geoloaic Information <br />The Site is depicted on the Geologic maps of the Sacramento -San Joaquin Delta, <br />California (Atwater, 1982). The Site is depicted within a map unit of the Modesto <br />Formation described as "compact silt and very fine sand" (Plate 9). <br />The surface and near surface soils located at the Site are reported by the USDA Web <br />Soil Survey to be composed of Veritas fine sandy loam, with areas of Manteca fine <br />sandy loam and Timor loamy sand (Plate 10) (USDA, 2021).
