Due to procurement delays, dedicated pumps
have not yet been installed in the new monitoring wells G-12, G-13, or G-14. Staff placed orders for the
pumps in July 2022 but the vendor claims they are still waiting for the manufacturer to supply them.
Staff has searched for other suppliers but has been unable to find suitable pumps.
Detection monitoring wells on northern side of the landfill consist of G-7 and G-8. Detection monitoring
wells on western side of the landfill consist of G-513 and G-9. Detection monitoring well G-11 is on
southern side of the landfill. Detection monitoring well G-10 is on eastern side of the landfill. Samples
were collected from these wells during the third quarter 2022 event. Due to low water levels, a sample
was not collected from well G-5B.
The groundwater elevations during the third and fourth quarters of 2022 indicated that groundwater flow
was to the north and east.
VOCs were not reported in any of the monitoring wells G-7, G-8, G-9, G-10 or G-11 that surround the
landfill during the second semiannual 2022 period.
1810 East Hazelton Avenue I Stockton, California 95205 1 T 209 468 3000 1 F 209 468 2999
IN Follow us on Facebook @ PublicWorksSJC Visit our website: www.sjgov.org/pubworks
