Subbotnikova : <br /> In compliance with the Air board permit requirements , we will be replacing the existing flare with a <br /> new low NOx LFG Flare at North County Landfill ( Figure 1 ) . The replacement flare will be installed <br /> next to the existing flare . <br /> The project will tentatively begin in February 2024 and will take up to sixty days to complete . The <br /> new flare will not be operated until electrical upgrades are completed by PG & E . The existing flare <br /> will continue to operate until then . <br /> The operation of the new flare will be similar to the existing one .
