Date: <br /> Manufacturer training: <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> NOTES <br /> On site for a 550 gallon steel tank removal, empty unknown content. <br /> -Witnessed tank removal, piping, sampling tank pit and soil stockpile. <br /> -Observed tank exterior when it was removed , rusted and little holes on the sides of the tank. <br /> -Verified no signs of stains, odor or contamination. <br /> -The only piping observed was running horizontally from the dispenser to the tank approximately 4 feet. <br /> -Tank pit measurements: 96 inches(length)x 72 inches(width)x 67 inches(depth). <br /> -Tank measured 73 inches long and 48 inches in diameter. <br /> -Soil Stock pile volume approximately 5 cubic yards <br /> -LEL: 00 <br /> -Oxygen: 00.00% <br /> -70 pounds of Dry ice were used to inert the tank on 01/16/2024,triple rinse and put in a 55 gallon blue steel drum on site. <br /> Sampling was conducted by Robert Fourt (CEG, CHG, REHS)of Fourt Consulting group Jackson CA. <br /> Two tank pit samples were taken one at each end of tank pit labeled UST-North and UST-South, 9ft into the native soil at <br /> 10.55am.One composite stockpile sample taken from three different sides of stockpile labeled UST-C&P at 11.00am. <br /> One sample taken at the dispenser and piping 2 feet into the native soil, labeled UST-D at 10.58am <br /> Discussed sampling and analytical requirements with Sampler <br /> Verified that the city permit was obtained prior to removal.
