Hearing protection with <br />a noise reduction rating of at least 25 decibel should be worn (i.e., earplugs or earmuffs). The SHSS will <br />inform site personnel when and if hearing protection is required. High noise levels are usually <br />associated with the operation of drill rigs, compressors, generators, pumps, motors, and portable hand <br />tools including drills and jackhammers.
