Disposal Facility (Site) Inspection Report (52) <br />Forward Landfill, Inc. (39 -AA -0015) <br />4/28/2025 <br />B.) Repair erosion channels to prevent further exposure of waste. <br />Areas of Concern <br />27 CCR 20700 - Intermediate Cover <br />Daylighting observed near the old asbestos area and at the bottom of the northern <br />slope of WMU-FU19. Operator began covering the area during the inspection. <br />A.) Compacted earthen material at least twelve (12) inches shall be placed on all <br />surfaces of the fill where no additional solid waste will be deposited within 180 days to <br />control vectors, fires, odors, blowing litter, and scavenging. <br />B) Operator shall cover areas with daylighting with clean soil. <br />Inspection Report Comments <br />Notes: <br />1. The entire site was not accessible due to recent rain events. Ponding observed on different <br />locations of the site. A pump was observed pumping out water from depressions. <br />2. The shallow probes for gas wells GP -16 and GP -27 were made accessible for gas <br />monitoring. <br />3. Tarps, overs and soil are used for daily cover. <br />4. The primary winter pad was being used as the working face. <br />5. The weather during the inspection was 69°F with a southeast wind of 10 mph. <br />6. Records were reviewed. <br />7. Track out and odors were light. <br />8. Gas wells GP- 17 and GP- 18 were measured for methane.
