Disposal Facility (Site) Inspection Report (52) <br />Forward Landfill, Inc. (39 -AA -0015) <br />5/23/2024 <br />Inspection Report Comments <br />Notes: <br />1. Water truck is used for dust control. <br />2. FU -19 and FU -23 were being used for disposal. Tippers were being used at FU -19 and all <br />other vehicles utilized FU -23. <br />3. Tarp, overs and soil are used for the daily cover, per operator. On the day of the inspection, <br />only soil and overs were used for the daily cover because the tarp machine broke. <br />4. Records were reviewed. No special occurrences have occurred since the last inspection. <br />5. A total of 3 staff were observed at FU -23 and approximately 3 to 4 staff were observed at <br />FU -19. Employees were observed wearing appropriate PPE. <br />6. Track out and odors were light. <br />7. EHD received notice of change to operational hours from Environmental Manager, Osvaldo <br />Cordero, on April 19, 2024. The new hours of operation will be Monday - Friday 4:30 AM to <br />5:00 PM and Saturdays from 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM. New signage has been ordered, per <br />operator. <br />8. Gas well GP -2A and GP -3 were measured for methane. Methane was not detected at the <br />wells. <br />9. Goats and sheep are used for vegetation control. <br />10.
