Compostable Materials Handling Operation and Facility Inspection <br />Report (93) <br />Forward Resource Recovery Facility (39 -AA -0020) <br />Notes: <br />1. Facility records indicated the windrows are continued to being turned 2 to 3 times a week. <br />2. Operator submitted a lab analysis report for the month of November to the EHD. <br />3. Track out onto Austin Road was moderate. A sweeper was in the process of sweeping <br />Austin Road during the inspection. <br />4. Odors were light and flies were not observed. <br />5. The weather during the inspection was 43F, with a wind speed of 3 mph. <br />6. Records were reviewed from November 27, 2021 to December 20, 2021. <br />7. The following temperatures were measured during the inspection. Incoming green waste <br />was 138F. Ground green waste was 147F. Windrows ranged from 133F to 158F. Finished <br />compost measured ranged from 122F to 140F and the finished product was 82F. Temperature <br />for the biomulch was 146F. <br />8. Ponding was observed throughout the site.
