25=V / .go 5GUIM <br /> Camera <br /> NEVER UNWRAP YOUR TATTOO OR TOUCH YOUR BANDAGE WHILE IN OUR SHOP <br /> • Leave your fresh tattoo bandaged for the first 2-5 hours <br /> • Do NOT leave your tattoo wrapped overnightl <br /> With clean hands,carefully remove bandage. If the bandage is sticking to your tattoo,you may find that <br /> wetting the bandage is helpful <br /> • Wash tattoo thoroughly(without scrubbing)using only fragrance-free antibacterial soap,your fingertips and <br /> water <br /> • Rinse the tattoo thoroughly and gently pat dry using a clean disposable towel. Do NOT use a washcloth <br /> or anything abrasive to clean/dry your tattoo <br /> • Never re-bandage your tattoo <br /> • After cleaning,apply a small amount of ointment to the tattooed area. We suggest Aquaphor or A&D ointment <br /> for healing tattoos. The use of other products may cause complications during healing. <br /> • Continue cleaning your tattoo this way 2-3 times daily for the first two weeks, unless otherwise specified by your <br /> a rti st. <br /> It is ac%,Isable to wear clean,old, loose fitting comfortable clothing over the tattooed area during the first night,as your <br /> new tattoo may secrete excess pigment and/or blood. Tattoos normally stain sheets,or clothes during the first night. <br /> During the healing process, it is normal for your tattoo to feel itchy. It is also normal for small pieces of skin containing <br /> pigmerrt to flake off especially during cleaning. Do NOT attempt to intentionally remove these. NEVER PICK OR <br /> SCRAT-H,try to wear soft, loose and comfortable clothing over your tattoo while it's healing. <br /> PROPER 11-11EALING OF YOUR TATTOO IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY <br /> For the duration of surface healing(approximately 2 weeks) <br /> • ALWAYS keep your tattoo and surrounding area clean <br /> • DO NOT touch your tattoo other than during cleaning <br /> • DO NOT submerge the tattooed area in any type of standing water. <br /> • DO NOT pick or scratch your tattoo <br /> • DO NOT expose your tattoo to direct sunlight or tanning beds. <br /> • After the tattoo surface is healed always use a strong sunblock <br /> While your tattoo is healing be sure to avoid physical activities such as contact sports,dirty or hazardous workplace <br /> environments, swimming, prolonged exposure to chemicals,excessive heat/cold and anything else that could normally <br /> cause 3amage to your skin. <br /> Signs of infection can be(but are not limited to)excessive drainage/discharge coming from the tattoo, redness and <br /> warmth at the procedure site,excessive pain, swelling,and discoloration.
