Contact the local fire district , the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District , and the local community development department for any applicable permits and requirements . 2 . Email notification to ust(a). slgov . org to arrange the following inspection appointments . All appointments must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance . a . Leak detector test , after first fuel delivery : Verify the device can detect a leak of 3 gallons per hour at 10 psi . Verify line volumes are appropriate for the make and model of the installed leak detectors . (Testing was completed during the routine monitoring system certification on 7/ 19/2023 ) 4 . Any individual installing underground storage systems or components must possess , or work under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically present at the work site at all times while work is being performed who possesses , all of the following : • One of several permissible valid , current contractor licenses issued by the Contractors State License Board (CSLB) • A current UST Installation/Retrofitting certificate issued by the International Code Council ( ICC) • A valid , current certificate of training from the manufacturer( s ) of the component ( s) being installed 5 .
