Vine Street <br />Lodi, CA 95240 <br />RE: HAZARDOUS WASTE GENERATOR TRAINING <br />Dear Mr. Williams: <br /> <br />On December 5, 2023, I conducted a Hazardous Waste Generator Training (HWGT) to support <br />your Hazardous Waste Generator Program via a Zoom meeting. The HWGT was specific for the <br />department staff that generates, handles, and labels hazardous waste on a routine basis. The training <br />consisted of a PowerPoint presentation on HWGT and a review of the quiz. Specific programs <br />covered were the Hazardous Material Business Plan, Contingency Plan, Emergency Procedures, and <br />First Responder Requirements. <br /> <br />The training also covered: <br /> <br /> CERS Review <br /> Universal Waste <br /> Laws & Regulations <br /> Hazardous Waste Procedures/Inspections <br />o Weekly Inspections <br />o PPE <br />o Empty Container Rule <br /> Hazardous Waste Characteristics <br /> Hazardous Waste Paperwork <br /> Accumulation Rules <br />o Hazardous Waste Storage Areas <br />o Hazardous Waste Labeling <br />o Accumulation Times <br />o Incompatibility of Wastes <br /> Emergency Response <br /> <br /> <br />
