These materials are not approved feedstocks for <br /> open windrow composting. <br /> b)The term "cannery rinse water" is used. The EHD staff are requesting that the term "high <br /> B.O.D. liquid from food processing" be used instead. <br /> c)The Joint Technical Document(JTD) is referenced. The JTD cannot be referenced because it is <br /> under a different permit(39-AA-0015). <br /> 1-3 The term "agriculture" wells is used. Change the term to "production" wells. <br /> 1-4 The term "domestic"well is used. Change the term to "production"well. <br /> 1-5 a)Garbage, sewage sludge, biosolids, holding tank pumpings and animal based grit/grease are <br /> not approved materials for composting. <br /> b)The term "cannery rinse water" is used. The EHD staff are requesting that the term "high <br /> B.O.D. liquid from food processing" be used instead. <br /> c)The document states that"compost...utilized on-site as soil amendment with prior <br /> notification to the LEA." Change to, "...with prior approval by the LEA." <br /> d)The JTD cannot be referenced because it is under a different permit(39-AA-0015). <br /> 1-6 a)Sewage sludge, holding tank pumpings, septic tank pumpings are not approved feedstocks for <br /> open windrow composting. <br /> b)The statement"Ash may be incorporated into composting mixtures to help reduce odors." <br /> Does Forward Inc have evidence that ash does reduce odors? The EHD staff is requesting <br /> supporting documentation for this statement. <br /> c)The term "cannery rinse water" is used.
