CaRecycle <br />Compostable Materials Handling Operation and Facility Inspection Report (93) <br />THE ABOVE FACILITY WAS INSPECTED FOR COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE SECTIONS OF THE DIVISION 30 OF THE PUBLIC RESOURCES CODE (PRC)AND TITLE 10 AND TITLE 2] CALIFORNIA CODE OF REGULATIONS (CCR) <br />X <br />No Yjoiatkgns or Areas of. concern <br />Y <br />; A Regulations <br />inspetiori 004 50 �.° . <br />Routine monthly inspection conducted on this date and the following was noted: <br />1. <br />Inspector drove south of the facility along Austin Road and found no objectionable odors resulting from <br />the composting operation. <br />2. <br />The litter along the perimeter fence noted in the 6/26/14 report has been cleaned up. A mesh litter fence <br />has been installed to reduce the amount of litter reaching the perimiter fencing. <br />3. <br />There was separation between the manually screened greenwaste pile and the unscreened greenwaste <br />received. <br />4. <br />The odor and fly population was light. Dust was minimal. The water truck was observed watering the <br />area. <br />5. <br />Temperature and turning records were reviewed and were found to be completed properly. All other <br />records were available for review. <br />6. <br />The analysis results for the metal concentration, fecal coliform denisty, and Salmonella density of the <br />compost product was available for review. The compost met the state standards. <br />7. <br />The temperature of the greenwaste was 126 F. The temperature range of the ground material and <br />windrows was 116 F to 143 F and 127 F to 155 F respectively. The temperature range of the overs and <br />screened product was 98 F to 106 F and 125 F to 138 F respectively. There were no piles of pre- <br />screened product onsite during the inspection. <br />8. <br />The permit revision and RFI amendment application package with payment was submitted. The package <br />is currently under review by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department. <br />
