The feedstock shall undergo load checking to ensure that physical contaminants are removed. <br /> 2. As instructed before, spread out received feedstock and screen to remove physical contaminants. Once <br /> screened,the feedstock can then be piled up. Workers were observed removing physical contaminants <br /> from the piled up feedstock that should have already been screened. <br /> 3. Ensure that all personnel assigned to load checking and screening are properly trained in recognizing <br /> physical contaminants. <br /> 4. This is a repeat area of concern. A violation will be given during the next monthly inspection if this issue <br /> continues. <br /> 7 777777s <br /> Routine monthly inspection conducted on this date and the following was noted: <br /> 1. Windrows with cannery waste were indicated by orange paint. <br /> 2. There was a noticeable increase in the fly population. The operator said that he will implement more fly traps to <br /> reduce the fly population. <br /> 3. All records were available for review. <br /> 4. The analysis results for the metal concentration,fecal coliform density, and Salmonella density of the compost <br /> product was available for review. The compost product met the state standards. <br /> 5. The temperature and turning records were reviewed. The records for this month properly indicated when each <br /> windrow met the pathogen reduction requirements. <br /> 6. The temperature range of the greenwaste and ground material was 115 F to 121 F and 143 F to 153 F <br /> respectively. The temperature range of the windrows was 134 F to 159 F. The temperature of the overs was 113 <br /> F. The temperature range of the pre-screened product and the screened product was 154 F to 159 F and 140 F to <br /> 161 F respectively. <br />
