The test results you submitted were for 4/9/2024 for the Secondary Containment
Testing. If they haven't already been submitted, please submit those to the UST email.
I am attaching the results to this email for 04-19-2023
210 - The facility employee training records I found submitted on CERS do not belong there. Please see
below:
1. The date of assuming responsibility as a facility employee is left blank for all employees.
2. Is the 5/7/24 the correct initial training date for all the employees? Is this the first date all
those listed employees have had the facility employee training by the DO?
3. Both training date fields for your name appear to be blank.
Please submit the copy of training record directly to me and maintain a copy on site.
I am attaching the Training With the dates to this email as well.
306 - Please update the corrective action statement or inform me directly when you have located the
hose for the hand pump in order to remove liquid from sumps on site. Otherwise please locate/acquire a
means of removal of water from secondary containment. The violation is as noted on the report, and per
state regulation, a means of removing/disposing water that may enter secondary containment must be
maintained by the facility.
We did have the hose but couldn't find it and the technician that was on site did remove the liquid and
took it with them. We did locate our hose a few days later.
HSC§25291(e) If water could enter into the secondary containment by precipitation or
infiltration, the facility shall contain a means of monitoring for water intrusion and for removing the
water by the owner or operator. This removal system shall also prevent uncontrolled removal of this
water and provide for a means of analyzing the removed water for hazardous substance contamination
and a means of disposing of the water, if so contaminated, at an authorized disposal facility.
I hope this takes care of all the issues.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
Thanks,
Asim
CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE: This communication constitutes an electronic communication within the meaning of the
Electronic Communications Privacy Act, 18 USC 2510 and its disclosure is strictly limited to the recipient intended by the
sender of this message.
