County of San Joaquin
Community Development Department
April 15t 2024
Re: Objection to Application & Planned development:
David Lind
APN -025-140-56
Application#PA-2400056(MS)
This letter shall serve as our Opposition to this Development for the following reasons:
• The "Subdivision" will create additional traffic, when there is already too much traffic on Ray
Road, due to residents using both Ray Road and Sargent as a "back road" (vs. HWY 12)to access
their new development on the Sargent Road/ Lodi Ave development known as; Rosegate.
• The added Water Wells will further deplete the Ground Water, which has been challenged by
drought.
• The added Septic Systems will place further potential strain on the environment and Ground
Water Aquifer.
• Ag properties were supposed to be protected with proper zoning to preserve the Green Belt and
minimize over-urbanization of our remaining"Country' Ag Properties, this urban sprawl has
continued to erode the historical appreciation of the San Joaquin Valley as a "Farming" County.
For these reasons, we respectfully ask that the County Planning Commission, deny this Application.
Regards,
John & Karrie Nobriga
15402 N. Ray Road
Lodi, Ca 95242
209-471-1885
