Compostable Materials Handling Operation and Facility Inspection <br />Report (93) <br />Forward Resource Recovery Facility (39 -AA -0020) <br />Notes: <br />1. The previous violation — 17868.3(a) for Pathogen Levels Exceeded has been corrected. <br />Facility records for the month of November indicated the windrows are being turned 2 to 3 <br />times a week. <br />2. The previous area of concern for 17869.1(a) — Sampling Requirements has been corrected. <br />Operator submitted a lab analysis report for the month of October. <br />3. Track out onto Austin Road was light. <br />4. Odors were normal and the fly population was light. <br />5. The weather during the inspection was 45F, with a wind speed of 1 mph. <br />6. Records were reviewed from October 16, 2021 to November 26, 2021. <br />7. The following temperatures were measured during the inspection. Incoming green waste <br />was 83F. Ground green waste was 96F. Windrows ranged from 131 F to 161 F. Finished <br />compost measured 132F and the finished product was 138F.
