Any items found to be deficient at the timeof plan review will be marked. This does not relieve the contractor of the responsibility for correcting any deficiencies not so marked. <br />L. Pool construction must comply will all local building, plumbing, and electrical codes. <br />A. SEC. 7809-LIGHTING <br />1. Pool and pool premises adequately lighted if intended for indoor or night use. <br />B. su.7794-Pon SHAPE <br />1. Free from recessed areas which will interfere with circulation, skim- <br />ming action, and safety. <br />C. sEc.7784-mATERIAL <br />1. Reinforced concrete or material of equal durability and strength. <br />Plastic lined pools not acceptable. <br />. Shell finish light colored, smooth, impervious and washable up to coping. <br />D. SEC.7796-DECKS <br />Four-foot wide paved walk completely around pool. <br />Drainage diverted away from pool, slope 1/4 to 3/8 inches per foot. <br />Where required, one deck drain provided for each - 400 Sq.Ft. deck- <br />spaced not more than 25 feet apart. <br />E. SEC.7795-STEPS,LADDERS,AND HAND HOLDS <br />1. Steps or ladders provided at both ends of pools over two feet deep. <br />If width is over 30 feet, steps or ladders on both sides at deep end. <br />----- 2. Ladders shall have clearance of not less than three inches or more <br />than five inches between wall and ladder. <br />3. Steps in wall, minimum treads five inches (5"), minimum width fourteen inches (14"). Readily cleaned and drain to pool. <br />4. Stairs within a pool shall be provided with a handrail. <br />If overflow gutters not provided, a 2i inch (maximum) thick bullnosed <br />coping not more than 9 inches above the water level shall be provided. <br />E H 12 1/66
