Compostable Materials Handling Operation and Facility Inspection <br /> Report (93) <br /> Forward Resource Recovery Facility (39-AA-0020) <br /> 1. The inspection was conducted with Kyle Maciel, Operations Manager. <br /> 2. Track out onto Austin Road was light. <br /> 3. The fly population and odors were light. <br /> 4. The following temperatures were measured during the inspection: <br /> - Incoming green waste was 108°F. <br /> - Ground green waste was 128°F. <br /> - Windrows ranged from 156°F to 170°F. <br /> - Finished compost measured 148°F. <br /> - Finished product was 108°F. <br /> - Biomulch was 112°F. <br /> - Overs were 88°F to 90°F. <br /> 5. The temperature during the inspection was 73°F with a wind speed of 7 mph. <br /> 6. Minimal amount of litter observed on neighboring property. <br /> 7. A facility tour was conducted on July 21, 2022 with Christine Karl (CalRecycle), Marcus <br /> Santillano (CalRecycle), Kyle Maciel (Forward Resource Recovery), Natalia Subbotnikova <br /> (EHD), Tom Hoang (EHD), and Sandip Singh (EHD). SB1383 measurement and record <br /> keeping regulations were discussed.
