GM 12, Measurement of the Asperity Height of Textured Geomembranes Using a Depth Gauge. <br />1.3 SUBMITTALS AND NOTIFICATIONS <br /> A. Prior to shipment of the GCL, the GEOSYNTHETICS CONTRACTOR shall provide the QA/QC CONSULTANT with a notarized certificate signed by an authorized representative of the Manufacturer stating that the product supplied meets the properties specified in this Section. <br /> B. Uncertified material that is installed shall be removed by the GEOSYNTHETICS CONTRACTOR at no cost to the OWNER. <br /> C. Testing specified in this Section shall be performed for this project by a laboratory approved by the QA/QC CONSULTANT. <br />1.4 CONSTRUCTION QUALITY ASSURANCE MONITORING <br /> A. The QA/QC CONSULTANT shall monitor installation as outlined in the CQA Manual. <br /> B. The GEOSYNTHETICS CONTRACTOR shall be aware of the activities outlined in the CQA Manual and account for these CQA activities in the installation schedule. <br />1.5 QUALIFICATIONS <br /> A. The GEOSYNTHETICS CONTRACTOR shall be experienced in the installation of GCLs. In the event the GEOSYNTHETICS CONTRACTOR is not experienced, a representative of the GCL Manufacturer shall be on site to train the GEOSYNTHETICS CONTRACTOR, at no additional cost to the OWNER.
