<br /> Page 36 <br />4.4.5 Materials in Contact with GCL <br /> <br />Equipment will not be driven directly on the GCL or any overlying geosynthetics. Unless otherwise <br />specified by the Design Engineer, all equipment operating on the GCL shall comply with the <br />maximum allowable equipment ground pressures provided in the Specifications. <br /> <br />Installation of the GCL in appurtenant areas, and connection of the GCL to appurtenances will be <br />made according to the drawings. The Geosynthetics Contractor will ensure that the GCL is not <br />damaged while working around appurtenances. <br /> <br />Geomembranes will be placed over each section of GCL as soon as practical to preclude <br />precipitation or other moisture contact with the GCL. <br />
