4. No excessive odors or flies observed. <br />5. Facility provided the third and fourth quarter compost and ground wood Article 7 test results <br />for metals, physical contaminants and pathogens. Area of concern on the December <br />inspection report is resolved. <br />6. The ground wood pathogen measurements were taken four times in 2023. The fecal <br />coliform results were 5350, 52400, 8320 and 996000 MPN/g, exceeding the regulatory limit of <br />1000 MPN/g. Ground wood exceeding the limit cannot be sold or given away for land <br />application. In 2023, the facility distributed 4478 tons to a biogen plant for energy production <br />and 13 tons for land application. The facility representative indicated during the inspection <br />that ground wood will be exclusively shipped to the biogen plant, going forward. <br />7.
