All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR <br /> OBSERVATIONS: Free chlorine at O.Oppm. Keep closed until corrected. <br /> VIOLATION DESCRIPTION:Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall <br /> maintain the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid,2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with <br /> cyanuric acid or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations:3.0 ppm to 10.0 <br /> ppm free chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine.(CCR 65529) <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br /> OBSERVATIONS: Post all 'Keep closed' signs on door/gates for every entrance on the exterior side. Correct in 1 week. <br /> VIOLATION DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br /> letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall,pole, gate, or similar <br /> permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified.(CBC 31208) <br /> #8 Pool and Deck Lighting <br /> OBSERVATIONS: Spa light not functioning. Repair in 2 weeks. <br /> VIOLATION DESCRIPTION:Pools used at night shall be equipped with underwater light fixtures that provide complete illumination of the <br /> pool. When a pool is used at night, pool deck and emergency egress areas shall be provided with lighting. If underwater or deck lighting is <br /> not operational, the pool operator shall post a sign in 4-inch letters stating "NO USE OF POOL ALLOWED AFTER DARK"and shall <br /> secure the pool area and not permit any use of the pool after dark.(31155) <br /> #31 Disinfectant Feeders <br /> OBSERVATIONS: Chlorine feeder is not functioning. Repair ASAP. <br /> VIOLATION DESCRIPTION:Each pool shall be provided with a system capable of continuous disinfection of the pool water. (CBC 31238) <br /> Disinfectant feeders shall be capable of supplying not less than the equivalent of 3 pounds of 100 percent available chlorine per day per <br /> 10,000 gallons of pool water.
