Brine reservoir was <br /> found to be empty during a routine designated UST operator inspection, indicating a leak in the secondary <br /> containment. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Secondary containment shall be impervious to the liquid and vapor of the substance <br /> contained and constructed to prevent structural weakening as a result of contact with any hazardous substances <br /> released from the primary containment. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately contact a properly licensed,trained, and certified contractor to make repairs to <br /> the UST system under permit and inspection of the EHD or provide work order of completed work under permit and <br /> inspection of the EHD as needed. <br /> This is (Class 2)Violation. <br /> 51 CA Health and Safety Code 25292.1(a)2030035- UST system is operated to prevent unauthorized release, including <br /> spills and overfills. <br /> OBSERVATION: L8, 87 annular sensor found to be in alarm from November 2023-January 2024.
