All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public <br />health and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure oursuant to California Code of Reaulations (Title 22) section 65545 <br />#10 Disinfectant Residual <br />OBSERVATIONS: Free chlorine is at 0.6ppm. Maintain at a minimum of 2.0-10ppm. <br />Approximately a half a gallon of chlorine added during inspection. Chlorine is now at 3.6ppm. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall <br />maintain the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with <br />cyanuric acid or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 <br />ppm free chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br />#12 pH Level <br />OBSERVATIONS: pH is at 8.0ppm. Maintain at 7.2-8.0. <br />Approx a half a gallon of acid added pH is now at 7.4. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.8. (OCR 65530) <br />#15 Operation Records <br />OBSERVATIONS: Pool logs are not being maintained daily. <br />Observed logs last entry was in May. <br />Maintain daily logs begin today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall test the disinfectant residual, pH, and spa water temperature a minimum of once per day. <br />Cyanuric acid concentration shall be tested once per month if cyanuric acid is used. Combined chlorine shall be tested as often as <br />necessary to maintain the concentration below 0.4 ppm. Pool operator shall maintain written records of all maintenance and test results <br />for at least two years and shall submit those records to the enforcement agency upon request.
