o
CITY OF STOCKTON
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS RECEIVED
CITY HALL
STOCKTON, CA 95202-1997
FEB 2 9 1988
February 19, 1988 SAN J0AQUlie1 C;UUNT'Y
PLANNING DIVISION
Chet Davisson, Director
San Joaquin County Planning Division
1810 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton CA 95205
Attention: Kitty Walker
APPLICATION REFERRAL #PD-88-1: EAST SIDE TURNPIKE
ROAD APPROXIMATELY 700 FEET SOUTH OF DOWNING AVENUE
Staff reviewed the application referral for a Planned
District on the east side of Turnpike Road, approximately
700 feet south of Downing Avenue. It is recommended the
following corrections and comments be included during the
final review process:
1. An "Outside City Limits Sewer Service Application"
must be approved by the City prior to the approval
of any sanitary sewer connection to the City system.
2 . The Sanitary Sewer Master Plan has identified the
southern industrial trunk line which would serve
this project is over-capacity by 135 percent. The
City cannot provide sanitary sewer service to this
development until an interim solution is approved
by the City Council.
3 . The following roadway improvements to Turnpike Road
should be considered. These actions will help
traffic entering and exiting the proposed project.
a. A 10 foot right-of-way dedication along the
proposed projects Turnpike Road frontage to
provide a 20 foot paved half-section.
b. Transitions from existing pavement north and
south of the site to the widened section of
Turnpike Road.
"ST®CK I O V...CALIFORNIA'S SUNRISE SEAPORT"
