All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. #8 Pool and Deck Lighting OBSERVATIONS: Light not functioning. Repair/replace by today. CAL CODE DESCRIPTION: Pools used at night shall be equipped with underwater light fixtures that provide complete illumination of the pool. When a pool is used at night, pool deck and emergency egress areas shall be provided with lighting. If underwater or deck lighting is not operational, the pool operator shall post a sign in 4-inch letters stating "NO USE OF POOL ALLOWED AFTER DARK" and shall secure the pool area and not permit any use of the pool after dark. (3115B) #11 Combined Chlorine Concentration OBSERVATIONS: Cyanuric acid is above 100 ppm. Adjust to below 100 ppm. Correct today. CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain combined chlorine concentration below 0.4 ppm. (CCR 65530) Chemical quality of pool water and indoor air quality at the pool site shall not cause adverse physiological effects, such as irritation of the eyes, lungs, or skin. (CCR 65531) #15 Operation Records OBSERVATIONS: The 2 last days chemical readings are not on the log. Daily readings have to be logged. Correct today. CAL CODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall test the disinfectant residual, pH, and spa water temperature a minimum of once per day. Cyanuric acid concentration shall be tested once per month if cyanuric acid is used. Combined chlorine shall be tested as often as necessary to maintain the concentration below 0.4 ppm. Pool operator shall maintain written records of all maintenance and test results for at least two years and shall submit those records to the enforcement agency upon request. (CCR 65523) #17 Cleanliness of Pool OBSERVATIONS: Some dirt at the bottom of the pool. Clean by today. CAL CODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain clean pool water while the pool is in use and shall not allow debris to accumulate in the pool. Pool operator shall clean the bottom, sides, and other surfaces of the pool as often as necessary to keep pool surfaces clean and free of slime and algae. (CCR 65533) #22 Skimmer Assembly OBSERVATIONS: Weirs are missing. Install by today. CAL CODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water.
