All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. #5 Restrooms and Showers OBSERVATIONS: Restrooms are dirty. Clean by today. Toilet paper, paper towels, and soap must be provided from a permanent installed dispensers. Correct today. CAL CODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall ensure the following facilities are maintained and kept clean: showers, toilets, dressing facilities, drinking fountains, diaper-changing stations, floors, walls, partitions, doors, and lockers. Showers (except outside) shall be provided with soap in dispensers. Toilet facilities shall be provided with toilet tissue, hand soap, and paper towels or hot air blowers in permanently installed dispensers. Pool operator shall provide a minimum of one waste receptacle in each toilet facility. Wooden slats, duckboards and footbaths are prohibited. ( CCR 65535, 65551) Showers and lavatories shall be provided with hot and cold water faucets. Maximum water temperature at showers and lavatories shall not exceed 110*F. (CBC 3116B) #10 Disinfectant Residual OBSERVATIONS: Free chlorine is at 11.5 ppm. Adjust water concentration to 2 ppm to 10 ppm. Correct prior to opening the pool. Pool is closed mondays. CAL CODE DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) #13 Cyan uric Acid Concentration OBSERVATIONS: Cyanuric acid is above 100 ppm. Adjust cyanuric acid to below 100 ppm. Correct today. CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain cyanuric acid concentration between 0.0 ppm and 100 ppm. (CCR 65530) #35 Flow Meters OBSERVATIONS: Flow meter is not functioning.
