At that time the EHD may consider your request to <br />reduce the number of inspections. In conversation with you, you stated that testing <br />conducted at another site indicated that the passive trench would release more gas under <br />atmospheric low pressure. Seeing as that changes with the weather, I think it is too soon <br />to just walk away. I have not seen a written plan for monitoring from you as we discussed <br />earlier. I have not heard anything from you regarding the UGT that was found at the site. <br />I would suggest that you get something to me very soon. We plan on measuring the landfill <br />gas concentrations at all of the probe, extraction well, and passive vent <br />locations later this week on Thursday October 19, 2006. If the methane <br />concentration within all of the probes are less than 5 percent during this <br />event, we respectfully request for your approval to suspend the bi-weekly <br />monitoring and to reinstate the quarterly monitoring.
