The LFG flare was not operating at time of inspection. <br /> <br />2. Perimeter fence is secure. Access gate is in good condition and locked. <br /> <br />3. No erosion was observed. <br /> <br />4. Multiple ground squirrels were observed at the site. Bait stations were also observed throughout the facility. <br /> <br />5. The GW-6 landfill gas perimeter well was tested during the inspection: <br />shallow CH4 = 0.0%, CO2 = 1.8%, O2 = 18.7%, Balance = 79.5% <br />mid CH4 = 0.0%, CO2 = 3.3%, O2 = 16.1%, Balance = 80.6% <br />deep CH4 = 0.0%, CO2 = 0.1%, O2 = 20.7%, Balance = 79.1% <br /> <br />7. The GW-7 landfill gas perimeter well was tested during the inspection: <br />shallow CH4 = 0.0%, CO2 = 0.6%, O2 = 19.1%, Balance = 80.3% <br />mid CH4 = 0.0%, CO2 = 3.3%, O2 = 16.2%, Balance = 80.5% <br />deep: N/A, well does not have a deep probe <br />8. According to the operator, the Corral Hollow Road and I-580 highway interchange may be widened and <br />encroach onto the landfill property. If the property owners or potential buyers are planning any Post Closure Land <br />Uses (PCLUs) for the site, see Title 27 California Code of Regulations section 21190 for PCLU requirements <br />including the PCLU Plan. The Plan shall be submitted to the Local Enforcement Agency (San Joaquin County <br />Environmental Health Department), the Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB), local air district and local <br />land use agency for review and approval prior to commencing any construction or pre-construction activities. <br /> <br />9. According to the operator, the Corral Hollow Road and I-580 highway interchange may be widened and <br />encroach onto the landfill property. The work may include eminent domain of land for the interchange. An owner <br />or operator of a disposal site who plans to sell, transfer or convey the ownership or operation of the disposal site to <br />a new owner or operator shall notify the Local Enforcement Agency (San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br />Department) and CalRecycle 45 days prior to the anticipated transfer of title. This notification shall include the <br />name(s), address(es) and phone number(s) of the new owner or operator.
