PERSHING AVENUE, STOCKTON, CA 95207 <br />Summary <br />March 3, 2023 <br />v:\1858\active\185851132\05_report_deliv\deliverable\reports\2023_rpt_17334_ust.docx 5.1 <br /> <br />5.0 SUMMARY <br />Two 10,000-gallon double-walled steel USTs were removed from the site on January 26, 2023. Fourteen soil <br />samples were collected beneath the dispensers, product piping, and USTs and one groundwater sample was <br />collected from the UST excavation. <br />TPH-GRO was detected in TP2-14 and TP-S-5 at concentrations of 0.102 mg/kg and 0.259 mg/kg, respectively. <br />Benzene was detected in TP-S-5 and P2-4 at concentrations of 0.00125 mg/kg and 0.00117 mg/kg, respectively. <br />Toluene and ethylbenzene were detected in TP-S-5 at concentrations of 0.0241 mg/kg and 0.00636 mg/kg, <br />respectively. Total xylenes were detected in TP2-14, TP-S-5, and P2-4 at concentrations of 0.00332 mg/kg, 0.112 <br />mg/kg, and 0.00374 mg/kg, respectively. Lead was detected in all fourteen soil samples at concentrations ranging <br />from 2.20 mg/kg in P1-4 to 12.9 mg/kg in P3-2. <br />TPH-GRO was detected in groundwater sample TPGW-11 at a concentration of 11,700 µg/L. BTEX were detected at <br />concentrations of 147 µg/L, 2,840 µg/L, 584 µg/L, and 4,170 µg/L, respectively. Ethanol was detected in the <br />groundwater sample at a concentration of 11,100 µg/L. Lead was detected in the groundwater sample at a <br />concentration of 14.6 µg/L. <br />The USTs were not replaced, and the site was resurfaced with asphalt following the completion of backfill and <br />compaction.
