87070180 <br /> L1=13 AXMMDNRff <br /> THIS AMENDMENT is between Madaline Scannavino ( "Lessor" ) and <br /> Atlantic Richfield Company, a Delaware corporation, predecessor <br /> to Richfield Oil Corporation, ( "Lessee" ) . <br /> For good and valuable consideration, including but not <br /> limited to the provisions hereof, the receipt and adequacy of <br /> which consideration is hereby acknowledged, Lessor and Lessee <br /> hereby amend that certain lease, and amendments, if any, dated <br /> March 23 , 1965, affecting real estate ( "Premises" ) located at SEC <br /> U.S. 99 Frontage Road and Hammer Lane, Stockton ( San Joaquin <br /> County) , California, more particularly described in said lease <br /> recorded July 7, 1965, in Official Records of San Joaquin County, <br /> California, in Book 2960, Page 555, as follows: <br /> 1. The lease term is extended to August 31, 2001; provided <br /> Lessee may terminate the lease as of the close of business August <br /> 31, 1996 , if Lessee delivers personal notice thereof or posts <br /> said notice with the U. S. Postal Service on or before July 31, <br /> 1996. <br /> 2. By Easement Agreement of even date herewith, Lessor has <br /> granted to Lessee, being GRANTOR and GRANTEE respectively, an <br /> easement over,, upon, across and under real estate described in <br /> attached Exhibit A, being contiguous to Premises, for the purpose <br /> of expanding and maintaining its present septic sewage system <br /> located on Premises. <br /> 3 . Commencing upon the date of recording of said Easement <br /> Agreement or the date the County approves the said septic system, <br /> whichever occurs later ( "commencement date" ) , the rents payable <br /> by Lessee to Lessor under said lease shall be as follows: <br /> A. From the commencement date through August 31, <br /> 1991, the monthly rent shall be $1500.00. <br /> B. From September 1, 1991 through August 31, 1996, <br /> the monthly rent shall be $2650.00. <br /> C.
