All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: Free chlorine is at 0.4ppm. Corrected to 4.8ppm. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall <br />maintain the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with <br />cyanuric acid or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 <br />ppm free chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br />#37 Electrical Hazards MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: Light in pool has water inside and is disconnected from the wall. Close until corrected. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Electrical equipment installed in the water, walls, deck, or equipment room of a public pool shall comply with <br />California Electrical Code. (CEC 680.4) Light fixtures installed in the pool that operate at more than 15 volts shall be protected by a ground <br />fault circuit interrupter. (CBC 3160B) <br />#3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: Keep closed sign on outside of gate is faded. Replace in 1 week. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) <br />#22 Skimmer Assembly <br />OBSERVATIONS: Weir lacking at skimmer. Replace in 2 weeks. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br />maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications. (CBC 3136B) <br />#30 Pool Equipment and Plumbing Maintained <br />OBSERVATIONS: Leak at the pump pipes. Repair in 2 weeks. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: All equipment related to pool operations shall be installed and maintained in accordance with manufacturer's <br />specifications and shall comply with applicable requirements established by applicable NSF/ANSI-50 performance standards.
