All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. #10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR OBSERVATIONS: Free chlorine is at 0.4ppm. Corrected to 4.8ppm. VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) #37 Electrical Hazards MAJOR OBSERVATIONS: Light in pool has water inside and is disconnected from the wall. Close until corrected. VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Electrical equipment installed in the water, walls, deck, or equipment room of a public pool shall comply with California Electrical Code. (CEC 680.4) Light fixtures installed in the pool that operate at more than 15 volts shall be protected by a ground fault circuit interrupter. (CBC 3160B) #3 Safety Signs OBSERVATIONS: Keep closed sign on outside of gate is faded. Replace in 1 week. VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) #22 Skimmer Assembly OBSERVATIONS: Weir lacking at skimmer. Replace in 2 weeks. VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications. (CBC 3136B) #30 Pool Equipment and Plumbing Maintained OBSERVATIONS: Leak at the pump pipes. Repair in 2 weeks. VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: All equipment related to pool operations shall be installed and maintained in accordance with manufacturer's specifications and shall comply with applicable requirements established by applicable NSF/ANSI-50 performance standards.
