All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public <br />health and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual <br />OBSERVATIONS: Free chlorine was below 3 PPM. Adjust to 3 PPM to 10 PPM. Close spa until the corrections are made <br />and verified by this department. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall <br />maintain the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with <br />cyanuric acid or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to <br />10.0 ppm free chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br />This is (Major) Violation. <br />MAJOR <br /> #18 Pool Shell and Tile <br />OBSERVATIONS: Pitting observed in spa shell and a large area (approximately 1x2 feet) missing of plaster. Patch or <br />re-plaster spa. Close spa until violation is corrected and verified by this department. <br />*If spa will be re-plastered please call 209-468-3420 for plan check requirements. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shells shall be white and have a smooth waterproof interior finish that will withstand repeated <br />brushing, and scrubbing. A spa pool may be finished in a light color other than white when approved by the enforcement agency.
