SAN JOAQUIN <br /> Environmental Health Department <br />-- -COUNTY <br />Time In: 10.00 am <br />Time Out: 10:33 am <br />Swimming Pool Official Inspection Report <br />Name of Facility: TRACY PARK APARTMENTS Date: 08/09/2019 <br />Address: 2800 N TRACY BLVD, TRACY 95376 <br />Owner/Operator: TRACY PARK APARTMENTS Telephone: <br />Program Element: 3611 - PUBLIC POOL/SPA- PRIMARY <br />Inspection Type: INSPECTION/REINSPECTION (Chargeable) <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code section(s) 116043, 116040, & <br />116050. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#8 Pool and Deck Lighting <br />OBSERVATIONS: The pool light does not work. Repair pool light to proper function by 1 week. Do not allow swimming after <br />dark until the pool light is working properly. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pools used at night shall be equipped with underwater light fixtures that provide complete illumination of the <br />pool. When a pool is used at night, pool deck and emergency egress areas shall be provided with lighting. If underwater or deck lighting is <br />not operational, the pool operator shall post a sign in 4-inch letters stating "NO USE OF POOL ALLOWED AFTER DARK" and shall <br />secure the pool area and not permit any use of the pool after dark. (31158) <br />#11 Combined Chlorine Concentration <br />OBSERVATIONS: The combined chlorine level in the pool is 0.8ppm. Decrease the combined chlorine level to 0.4ppm or <br />below. Correct by 1 week. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain combined chlorine concentration below 0.4 ppm. (CCR 65530) Chemical quality <br />of pool water and indoor air quality at the pool site shall not cause adverse physiological effects, such as irritation of the eyes, lungs, or <br />skin. (CCR 65531) <br />#14 Chemical Water Test Kit <br />OBSERVATIONS: Chemical water test kit not on site. Obtain a DPD water test kit by 1 week. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain a test kit for measuring the disinfectant residual, combined chlorine, pH, and <br />cyanuric acid (if used) at the pool. Test kit shall be available at all times the pool is in use. Chlorine and bromine test kits shall be DPD <br />type. Chlorine test kits shall be capable of testing for free and total chlorine, so that combined chlorine concentrations can be determined. <br />(CCR 65529) <br />#15 Operation Records <br />OBSERVATIONS: Operation record logs not on site. Maintain daily water test readings (chlorine and pH at minimum). <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall test the disinfectant residual, pH, and spa water temperature a minimum of once per day. <br />Cyanuric acid concentration shall be tested once per month if cyanuric acid is used. Combined chlorine shall be tested as often as <br />necessary to maintain the concentration below 0.4 ppm. Pool operator shall maintain written records of all maintenance and test results <br />for at least two years and shall submit those records to the enforcement agency upon request.
