All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#10 Disinfectant Residual <br />OBSERVATIONS: High level of free chlorine. Provide acceptable range between 2ppm and 1Oppm <br />CAL CODE DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br />the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br />or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br />chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br />#13 Cyanuric Acid Concentration <br />OBSERVATIONS: Cyanuric aid concentration high. Provide acceptable range below 100ppm. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION Pool operator shall maintain cyanuric acid concentration between 0.0 ppm and 100 ppm. (CCR 65530) <br />#22 Skimmer Assembly <br />OBSERVATIONS: Skimmers lack flappers. Provide flappers. <br />CAL CODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All pads of the skimmer shall be <br />maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications. (CBC 3136B) <br />#35 Flow Meters <br />OBSERVATIONS: Flow meter not functional. Provide a functional flow meter. <br />CAL CODE DESCRIPTION: Flow meters shall be provided on each recirculation system and shall be installed in accordance with <br />manufacturer's specifications.
