All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#7 Pool Deck <br />OBSERVATIONS: The pool deck is sinking beneath the coping in some spots and creating a tripping hazard, the deck must <br />be flush with the coping. <br />There is also cement joints missing between some of the coping pieces. Fill these gaps so that no one can be injured. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: An unobstructed 4-foot wide deck of concrete or like material shall be provided and maintained flush with the <br />top of the pool coping. Deck shall extend completely around the pool and shall further extend 4 feet on both sides and to the rear of any <br />diving board, ADA device, or slide. (CBC 31148) Pool operator shall keep the pool deck well maintained. (CCR 65535) <br />#22 Skimmer Assembly <br />OBSERVATIONS: There are 0-rings missing that go under the float valve assembly and under the float, in the assembly. <br />Check all skimmers for 0-rings and replace missing 0-rings by the next routine inspection. <br />CAL CODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br />maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications. (CBC 31368) <br />#29 Recirculation System Operation <br />OBSERVATIONS: The recirculation system was off when I arrived, the pumps should be running while the pool is open and <br />2 hours before and after the pool is open. Corrected on site. <br />CAL CODE DESCRIPTION: Recirculation system shall be in operation whenever the pool is available for use and additional times as <br />needed to maintain clear pool water.
